XBOX DVD DRIVES
Microsoft Xbox consoles use three brands
of drives - Thomson , Philips and Samsung with a range of models here are the
most common three

They all play XBOX original media perfectly as that's the purpose of them .. but recordable is a different matter where the Samsung is a great all rounder the Philips Drive seems to prefer DVD-R and the Thomson likes DVD+R and this may vary to brand of disk and condition of disk
So trial and error is the key to finding what your drive likes best.. :)
